Notice of Intent and Proposed Home Education Program
Rhode Island requires parents or guardians to propose their curriculum and home education program to the local school committee for approval. They won’t be able to begin homeschooling until receiving that approval. Once the home education program commences, families are required to keep logs of completed work, and should communicate with the person in charge of homeschooling in their district regarding required standardized testing.
