Home Education Program

Families are required to submit an Intent to Homeschool form within 30 days of starting the Home Education Program. They have full autonomy over what curriculum they choose, as long as it complies with state requirements. Parents or legal guardians must keep attendance logs and portfolios of their child’s workfrom every school year to provide an annual academic evaluation to the school district and maintain it for two years.

Umbrella Schools

Families can choose to homeschool by enrolling in an Umbrella school to receive curriculums and support (Florida-homeschooling.org)
