What are your options?
Notice of Intent to Homeschool (NOI)
Families can submit a Notice of Intent to Homeschool (NOI) form as a form of registration with the school district, which states that the parents of legal guardian of the homeschooling children assumes full financial responsibility/autonomy for curriculums and things that would typically fall to the district in which they reside. The Homeschool office provides optional resources to support parents with how to find resources and guidance on how to fulfil state requirements.. (AR Dept. of Ed.)
Online Public School
There is an abundance of options for accredited online public schools that works for the the family that may want to homeschool but also desires assistance and structure.
*Note
It would appear that this is the only legal way to homeschool in Arkansas. It also looks like it’s primarily done by religious families. Most Arkansas Homeschooling co-ops or groups are faith based.
